The Acros carbon mtb handlebar was born out of a personal need: The goal was a stable and lightweight carbon handlebar with 35mm clamping for the trail bikes of Acros employees. For the implementation we got support from the carbon specialists from all ahead composites. The result is our mtb carbon handlebar, handmade in Germany. The "in-mold-stack-up" process used enables a structure that is adapted to the load. In this process, the individual carbon mats are placed layer by layer in a negative mold based on a fixed plan. The upper and lower sections of the handlebar are particularly stable thanks to unidirectional reinforcements, while the lateral sections ensure a significant weight reduction with their reduced wall thicknesses. In combination with the 35-mm clamping, this results in an unbeatable combination of maximum stability and low weight. The stability of our carbon-handlebar proves not least the golden seal "Multiload MTB" - this test procedure of the independent institute Zedler is known as an absolute endurance test.
