Product information 'Anti Rattle Tube'
The main purpose of the silicone foam tube made in Germany that we use for our ART is to prevent the rattling of internally routed brake or shift cables. Shift cables as well as thick braided steel cables fit without any problems. The hose is very tough and can neither be broken down by brake fluid nor retain water and thus become heavier. It can also be used as a shifter cable guide under the chain stay, which is taped with Frame Protection Tape, and the cable can be replaced without having to re-tape it.
