The sensitive feel on the lever means that the progressively increasing braking force is very predictable in both dry and wet conditions. They are also consistently quiet and are characterized by their long service life.
The only 1.6 mm thick carrier plate, made of a steel alloy, saves weight compared to traditional designs - but still has the advantageous thermal properties as well as the strength and stability of steel. The space gained is put to good use with additional pad thickness, further extending the life of the pads.
Disc RS offers a balanced combination of braking performance, durability and extremely low noise under all conditions. This finely tuned pad compound offers an optimum riding experience compared to other brake pads.
