Description
This mineral oil is the right brake fluid for all Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, whether MTB, road, gravel or trekking. As it does not bind water, mineral oil has the advantage over DOT that its quality remains constant for longer - it does not need to be replaced as often. A funnel bleed kit for the master unit and a basic bleed kit or professional bleed kit for the complete disc brake are available separately. When servicing the brakes, please ensure that no oil gets onto the brake discs.

- Is not hygroscopic, so does not absorb water
- Has longer maintenance intervals and does not need to be changed as often
