As SRAM's first direct-mount road bike brake, the S-900 rim brake doesn't just complete the road bike product range. It was designed to provide maximum braking power and a clear pressure point. Its design optimizes the force transmission into the brake and reduces losses in the direction of the frame and fork. As a result, more braking force reaches the rim; in addition, the rigid construction guarantees good modulation and direct resetting. The brake has space for tires up to 28 mm wide and is compatible with all non-hydraulic SRAM levers, including the SRAM RED® eTap®.
